Steve's cartoons have been published in most national periodicals such as GOOD HOUSEKEEPING, TV GUIDE, SATURDAY EVENING POST,  EBONY, BETTER HOMES & GARDENS, SOAP OPERA DIGEST, NATIONAL ENQUIRER, WOMAN'S WORLD, CHRISTIANITY TODAY, TEEN QUEST, YOUR CHURCH, LEADERSHIP, YOUTHWORKER, PARACHUTIST, SKYDIVING. and hundreds more.

The one on the right  is extra funny to me because it was posted in a Laundromat bulletin board. After I noticed it, I told a lady I drew it. I even showed her my signature on  my Driver's License. She never believed me.

Steve has also illustrated dozens of books, including his own, All God's Children Got Gum in Their Hair!

Steve had a couple of close calls  with cartoon strip syndication. King Features gave a lot of interest in his strip, PUSHING 50, and NEIGHBORS was syndicated for a very brief time by Full Tilt Features.
